Shows reviews Policy

Members of the cast, crew, author or theatre staff can't write reviews for their own shows. All reviews submitted through our website, are not published until they are reviewed and approved by our team. We won't publish any reviews which are thought to be offensive or contravene any laws or reveal the plot and/or the end of the play. All reviewers must enter a valid email address, in order for their review to be published.

1. Definition

We use one cookie to save your preferred results view and one cookie to save your favourite shows list. Both cookies are only valid during current browser session and they will be deleted when you close browser. Moreover, we use browser’s local storage to store the list of theatres and shows for the auto-complete functionality of our search engine. Lastly, we use one cookie to save your consent to the use of cookies, which is stored for 180 days.

3. Google Analytics cookies

With the use of Google Analytics, we can see how people use our website, where from and how do they access our website (e.g. how many visitors we have per day, which pages they visit most often, how long to they spend on each page, users’ location through IP address, device type, browser, operating system, screen resolution etc). In order to get our website statistics, Google creates cookies, which are stored on your device when you browse our website and are used to offer website statistics without personally identifying individual visitors.

4. Facebook cookies

Our website includes the “Share” button and the “Page feed” plugin of Facebook. A cookie from Facebook is created and stored on your device when you browse theatrinos.gr. The cookie will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days. Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect directly from you and how we use it

Newsletter / Theatrinos Club sign-up: If you want to receive our newsletter you need to enter your email address in the "Theatrinos Club" signup form. In order to protect your email account from being unwillingly used, we are using a double opt-in (DOI) method for subscribing to our newsletter: double opt-in is a process, where -after you fill our signup form- you receive an email with a link to confirm it was really you asking to receive theatrinos.gr newsletter. We use your email solely to send you our newsletter, which includes an opt-out link.
Contact us form: When someone submits a question, problem, feedback or any other information through our contact form, an email address will be asked and will be used solely to reply to the submitted query and provide support.
Show review form: When someone submits a review through our show review form, an email address will be asked and will be used solely to verify the submitted review if needed, unless the user has given consent (checked the box) to receive our newsletter as well.

2. Information we collect indirectly and how we use it

Google Analytics: Our website uses the services of Google Analytics, as provided by Google. Google Analytics provides us with data regarding how people use our website, where from and how do they access our website. In any case, this data is not user identifiable.
We use this data to measure the performance of our website and improve the quality of our provided services (e.g. if we see that people use a lot a browser that is not fully supported by our website, we will work on fully supporting this browser). 3. Data security

Data security is of high priority to us. The data that you provide us through our contact form and newsletter signup form are securely transferred to our web server through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

Theatrinos.gr reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do so, we will notify you by posting the revised policy in this website, mentioning the “Last update date”, which is also the effective date of this policy.
